Hey, y'all! My name is Taylor and this is my electronic portfolio for English 101 at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. On this website, you will find the essays that have been revised and selected to be published by yours truly!
This semester in English 101, my class was assigned several different essays. These essays differed in genre, but were built from one another. The assigned genres were: Film Evaluation, Ad Analysis, Text Analysis/Response, and a Research paper. The Text Analysis essay was probably the hardest for me to write...I struggled more than I would have liked too; however, that was my best grade yet! I have learned so much from Professor Bolton and I hope all of my classmates did, too!
A little background info on myself:
I am originally from Hartsville, SC (GO RED FOXES!), but I also grew up in my parents vacation home in Murrells Inlet, SC - where I currently live! Oh & I'm 18 years young!
I am a beach junkie, and love nothing more than to just sit on it for hours on end. I'm a pro at playing corn hole and can paddle board like nobody's business.
Music is one of my passions...I love to sing (I got it from my mama). I love any genre of music - I can find a groove in any song!
Animals make me happy, especially my 3 dogs: Jax, Daisy, and Banks. I'm convinced that they're not dogs, in fact, they're human.
I'm an avid shopper and a compulsive buyer (I got that from my mama, too) - shoes are my favorite.
I love my family and God with everything that I have. I never take my W.W.J.D bracelet off, as it's a reminder to be more like Jesus.
When I'm not writing essays for English 101, I am studying for my pharmacy classes! Going to Pharmacy school is my biggest dream...I'm almost there!
My best friend, Brittany Ann, is the sister I've never had. Life would not be the same without her.
Well, thats enough about me. So, in the meantime, I'll just be getting high on a salt life. ☮
